LIC 375 Assistant Administrative Officers Recruitment
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) invites On-line Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for 
appointment to the following posts of Assistant Administrative Officer. LIC has announced recruitment of 375 Officers.

Post: Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO-Generalist)
Vacancies: 250 posts
Payscale: Rs.17240 /month
Age: 21 – 30 yrs, as on 1.11.2010
Qualification: Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University (under UGC) with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate in either of the Degrees which is relaxable to 45% in case of SC/ST candidates. If any University awards grades instead of marks, applicants should clearly mention the numerical equivalent of the grades in terms of aggregate marks and then write percentage scored out of aggregate marks.
Post: Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO – CA)
Vacancies: 100 posts
Age: 21 – 30 yrs, as on 1.11.2010
Qualification: An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Post: Assistant Administrative Officer (Legal)
Vacancies: 20 posts
Age: 21 – 30 yrs, as on 1.11.2010
Qualification: LL.B. with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and minimum three years experience at the Bar.
Post: Assistant Administrative Officer (CS)
Vacancies: 5 posts
Age: 21 – 30 yrs, as on 1.11.2010
Qualification: A Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
Selection process would be Written test & Interview would be conducted for AAO (general) posts.The test to be held at 37 entres across India has Objective & Descriptive papers. The selection is based only on Interview & fitness.
The Application Fee of Rs.400 (no fee for SC/ST) has to be paid in cash at any LIC branch or office before Dec 13, 2010 & obtain payment receipt.Candidates can then apply online through jobs.licindia.co.in by entering the payment details.
