The selection process:
SBI PO 2011 recruitment has written test (objective & descriptive test) for 250 marks.Apart from scoring high percentile in each objective paper, overall aggregate of 40% is necessary for being considered for Interview.

Application fees :
Rs.500(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) have to be paid at any branch of State bank of India before June 6, 2011. The details of payment & other personal details must be filled in the application & submitted online.(Candidate`s photo & signature & photo must be scanned & attached along with the online application).The application printout can be preserved for reference purposes

State Bank of India has declared final results for Specialist Management Executives (SME) & Specialist Technical Executives (STE) recruitment held in the year 2010.

The written test for these posts were conducted in the month of October 31, 2010 followed by GD cum Interview in January 2011.State bank of India has published the list of those found eligible for appointment as SME/STE.Detailed info on joining would be sent separately to these shortlisted.

The recruitment had notified for 500 SME & 60 STE posts, only 13 Technical executives & 199 Management executives have been selected.
