Steel Authority of India Limited( SAIL ), Central Marketing Organisation will hold All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant (Trainee) and Translator.

Starting date for submitting applications through website 31.12.2011

Jr. Assistant (Trainee) : 32 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9160 – 3% – 13150, Age : 18-28 years.
Translator (Hindi/ English) : 03 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9160 – 3% – 13150, Age : 18-28 years.

Selection Process for Jr. Assistant (Trainee) :
Stage I – Written Test (Multiple Choice Questions) on General Awareness, English, Quantitative
Aptitude & Reasoning
Stage II (for candidates short listed after the Written Test)
(i) Computer Skill Test on MS Office Package
(ii) Computer Typing Test (in English) at speed of 40 w.p.m and
(iii) Interview

Selection Process for Translator:
Stage I – Written Test to test proficiency in Hindi and English Languages comprising of Multiple
Choice Questions as well as Subjective Questions on Hindi, English, Translation from English to Hindi and viceversa, Precis writing etc.
Stage II (for candidates short listed after the Written Test)
(i) Interview

Application Fee:
RUPEES TWO HUNDRED FIFTY ONLY (Rs. 250/-) for General / OBC candidates and RUPEES FIFTY ONLY (Rs. 50/-) for SC / ST / PWD Candidates. Please note that an amount of RUPEES TWENTY (Rs. 20/-) will need to be paid by the candidate as Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable fee. Payment is to be made in CASH only
